Senior Vice President, Toll Brothers, Inc.

Fred Cooper joined Toll Brothers in 1993 to establish its Finance and Investor Relations Departments. He holds an A.B. from Brown University and a Master of Public Policy in finance and international development from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

Cecil Phillips

CEO & Chairman, Place Properties

Since founding Place Properties in 1991, Mr. Phillips has financed and developed over 60,000 student housing units across 30 campuses. Lately, he’s been focusing on developing affordable workforce housing using modern modular construction, independent of traditional financing sources like the LITHC program.

Donald Shillingburg

Associate, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris

Donald joined AHMM in 2019, bringing a rich portfolio of culturally and commercially significant projects from his tenure in prominent New York and London practices. He was part of the design team for Hudson Yards, where he worked on a number of aspects including the commercial towers, infrastructure platform and rail facility, public landscape and the large-scale artwork, Vessel.

Richard Peiser

Michael D. Spear Professor of Real Estate Development, Harvard GSD

Richard Peiser has been the Michael D. Spear Professor of Real Estate Development at the Graduate School of Design since 1998. Peiser’s research primarily explores how real estate developers respond to market dynamics and their institutional environment, especially within urban redevelopment, affordable housing, and suburban sprawl.
